We’re all using the same marketing theme this year: Shop Indie Local. When we work together to spread the word, we’ll multiply how many customers we reach.

Your customers matter a lot to you. And they have great stories. Now, the story doesn’t even have to be related to what you do. It can be anything amazing or interesting about them. It’s a great excuse to get to know customers a little better.
IMPORTANT: Ask your customer for permission to share their story and photo. Don’t surprise them by talking about them publicly without permission.
What can you share about your customers?
- What do they do for work, studies or profession?
- Who is in their family?
- What’s interesting about them?
- What causes matter to them personally?
Bonus points: Do it live!
Why not tell your customer’s story in a quick live video on Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat or TikTok? Maybe even invite them to join you, like a mini-interview.
Save that video, then post it to your website or other social channels.
Multiply it: Like and share
While you’re online, look up your local business buddies. See if they have posted their mini-stories yet. When you find them, like and share them!
You can do as many of these customer mini-stories as you like!
