The perfect Brag Basket calls for your good news

By Small Biz Survival

The perfect basket.

The perfect Brag Basket: wine, cheese, bread, and you. Photo by Joe deSousa.

The Brag Basket is open! This one is for October 16-18, 2015. Bring your good news, big or small, to share with everyone.

What can you do in the Brag Basket?

  • introduce yourself
  • share some great news from this week
  • congratulate a friend
  • applaud for each other
  • confess your undying love for rural places

How do you join in?

Below this post is the comment section. Add your good news there.

Reading this in your email? Hit reply.

Don’t like to brag? Just share some good news for yourself or a friend.

Just don’t make it an ad. I delete the ads that people stick in here. If you talk more about the people involved than the things, you’ll be fine.

It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

Mark, I love this, partly because it reminds me of Brag Basket! I hope you’ll make this a weekly habit with all your people.

Just came back from New England . We did the “leaf color” tour . Spectacular !!!!! Stowe, Vermont east to Keenebunk , Maine….. no Interstate highway. Every small town we went thru was vibrant , busy , and interesting . Reminded me of the small towns in the “Hill Country ” of Texas. In New England it was cheese, maple syrup, chowder, lobster, ski slopes , waterfalls, barns attached to the home, and bed and breakfasts . One restaurant we stopped at , along the way, had run out of food ! I wonder what the catalyst is that gets people coming ?

Jerry, I’m so glad you got to visit those towns and see inspiring examples. Density of population is sure different around there, too. I’m sure you have lots of new ideas percolating now.

I totally forgot about the brag basket!! Kind of nice as I’m super stoked to be getting back into the blogging world after being absent a few years. It’s a semisecret project that I’m trying to keep my girlfriend from knowing I’m doing, but I don’t think she’ll find her way to this post (as she walks in on me typing this). Anyway, I’m back at https://medium.com/marry-her-already until I get my domain settings squared away. Also, back in school this semester, and my first 8 week subterm finishes today! So much to do, and so much to look forward to!

I don’t really have much to brag about today… although today was a great day! And I’m glad to see the other commenters are doing so well as well :)
