Don’t like to brag? Just share some good news for yourself or a friend.
Just don’t make it an ad. I delete the ads that people stick in here. If you talk more about the people involved than the things, you’ll be fine.
It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

I’m a tourism and economic development guy from Norfolk County, Canada. Last weekend, my family visited Naples NY. I want to send a shout out to the businesses I encountered while I was there. I’d like to brag about how aware they were of each other. From the AirBnB host who knew all the restaurants so well, to the staff at Roots Café who knew the outdoor attraction offerings so well, to the Wayside farmers market operator who could talk in great depth about his product – I was very impressed. Also, the woman at the pizzeria knew we were tourists just by looking at us, and took the time to explain the menu. Plus, when we visited Wayside market for the third time, the man gave us a free box of homemade maple and bacon donuts! I know I have similar businesses in my community that are very well connected and aware, but I wanted to highlight Naples as another shining example.
Cheers,
