The Brag Basket is our tradition of sharing. The basket is always free and open all weekend, this one March 22-24, 2013. What good news will you add to the brag basket?
Don’t hold back because of that word, “brag.” When you hold back, you hide your good news and accomplishments that might inspire others. Even though I call this the Brag Basket, it’s not really about bragging. It’s about sharing.
What can you do in the Brag Basket?
- introduce yourself
- share some great news from this week
- congratulate a friend
- laugh about something wonderful that you tried that failed
- applaud for each other
Speak up and add yourself or another deserving soul in the comments. It lets you meet each other a bit. Reading each others’ stories brings us a bit closer to being a community.
How does it work? You write a comment on this post. We all cheer, and everyone feels great.
This is not an ad. (I delete the ads.) If you talk more about the people involved than the things, you’ll be fine.
It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

Happy Friday, Becky!
I’ve been running around like a madwoman lately and haven’t visited any blogs. Then I noticed that my RSS feed for Small Business Survival (I have it set up to go to my Outlook feeds) is no longer working. HOWEVER, I had also signed up to get your posts emailed to me, so at least I was able to take peeks when I could.
Tonight while waiting for something to transfer, I decided to pop on over.
I was so excited to see that you switched to WordPress! (Now I know why the RSS feed wasn’t working for me any more…)
So my comment for the brag basket today is yay for Small Business Survival switching to to WP! I hope you enjoy administering your website with it. I used it too and it’s such an easy interface.
I hope you have a fantastic weekend, Becky! :D

Tracy, thanks for the kind words. It’s an honor that you would go to the extra effort of chasing down our new feed. I use WordPress for several sites, Blogger for several other sites, and basically what ever seems to be the right tool for each job. There will be some more changes coming at Small Biz Survival that made WordPress the right choice now.
Thanks for dropping in, Tracy!
