You know you want to share something in the Brag Basket

By Small Biz Survival

Each Friday, I open the Brag Basket for the weekend. It’s designed as a fun place for you to share your projects and accomplishments. But you can also cheer for other people, give shout outs, congratulate, and even give someone a well-deserved pat on the back.

The Brag Basket is open for everyone, whether from a small town, a big city, or anywhere in the world. (But it’s true that I love small town brags!)

Will you put something in the Brag Basket this week? You can brag on a friend, your own project, yourself, others, anything! You don’t need special permission, and you don’t have to be from a small town. Just leave a comment right here. There’s no deadline, so you can brag anytime during the weekend, and I’ll open a fresh Brag Basket each Friday.

I feel blessed that although the economy is in the news every day about how bad things are and about businesses failing, our restaurant continues to thrive in this small town of 3300 and is actually doing better than last year at this very time!

    Are you allowed two brags?

This is my daughter in law’s first post on her first blog. I think she is a great writer.

She lives in a little town called Sandwich IL which has about 3000 people. Much like yours.

I was excited to land another local client! My local are is not my target market in my small rural community of 1500 or so. While I don’t push my marketing in my area I do keep spreading the word and do lots of word of mouth advertising and I landed another local client-woot!

I saw the pdf proof of an article I wrote on freelancing issues for a highly glossy niche print magazine that commissioned me to write 6 articles over the coming year. The editor liked it very much and said so and it the proof looks absolutely amazing!

(Thanks for the opportunity to brag!)

I was recommended to your blog because of a post I wrote. I just wanted to share it with you and your readers. I’m considering expanding this into a workshop for rural business.

I’m a small biz entrepreneur too sharing insights and expertise with like minded people.
