The Brag Basket is our tradition of sharing. The basket is always free and open all weekend, this one July 22-24, 2011.

Even though I call this the Brag Basket, it’s not really about bragging. It’s about sharing.
What can you do in the Brag Basket?
- introduce yourself
- share some great news from this week
- congratulate a friend
- laugh about something wonderful that you tried that failed
- applaud for each other
Don’t hold back because of that word, “brag.” When you hold back, you hide your good news and accomplishments that might inspire others.
Speak up and add yourself or another deserving soul in the comments. We all cheer, and everyone feels great. It lets you meet each other a bit. Reading each others’ stories brings us a bit closer to being a community.
How does it work? You write a comment on this post, email me, or catch me on any social network.
This is not an ad. (I delete the ads.) It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

My good friend Kimber and her daughter Alisha had the grand opening of their adorable little store in Rogersville, MO.It is called The Vintage Butterfly. It is located is a small town, a new small business, and with small budget. But the women work very hard and are so enthused,
I am very proud of them.
A big round of applause to Kimber and Alisha!
Our wonderful client Shelley Piraino spoke at the DMAI conference yesterday. We are so proud of her! Go Gulf Shores & Orange Beach Tourism!
Three cheers for Shelley!
Thanks for this little nice spot. It’s generous of you to give a spot to give nice words for someone else:-) It’s not a brag basket, it should be basket of goodies:-)
We’re excited that a local business operator got a Transport Canada license to run boat tours from our dock in Mussel Cove. Great to be able to get travellers out on the water when they visit our seacoast village. So congratulations to Walter Wilson and the Lucky Strike Fish Farm on his new business venture. Thanks from your friends on the Authentic Seacoast. Have a great weekend all! Doug
