The Brag Basket is almost as delicious as bacon

By Small Biz Survival

Who knew you could make a basket out of bacon?? Photo (CC) by Yogma on Flickr.

The Brag Basket is open! This one is for January 31-February 2, 2014.

What can you do in the Brag Basket?

  • introduce yourself
  • share some great news from this week
  • congratulate a friend
  • applaud for each other

How do you join in?

  • Below this post is the comment section. Add your brag there.
  • If you read these by email, just reply to the email with your brag. I’ll add it to the comments.

Don’t like to brag? Just share some good news for yourself or a friend.

Do you have to be from a small town? Well, no, not really. Just don’t make it an ad. I delete the ads that people stick in here. If you talk more about the people involved than the things, you’ll be fine.

It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

Hmm, small town. I guess that would be true, Rancho Mirage is pretty small. Its in the Coachella Valley which is where Palm Springs and theCoachella Fest are, but my business is mostly online.

I have been working on getting involved in social media theses past couple of weeks. I have never been a big one for that, but since I have been doing more reaching out and sharing and exploring, I have found a whole other side of the web that I hadn’t visited much before.

I really like it, I’ve found some like-minded people, made some new friends among bloggers and business owners and have started reaching out to people in a much bigger way. Thank you for providing this basket, too bad it can’t be made of downloadable bacon for a snack.
