Brag Basket full of peas

By Small Biz Survival

Each Friday, I open the brag basket as a fun place to brag or promote yourself and your projects.

This week is special, though. We are celebrating Frozen Pea Friday for Susan Reynolds, who is having breast cancer surgery today. (Why all the peas? Susan used a bag of frozen peas as an ice pack after biopsy and found the courage to write and laugh about it.) I encourage you to join me and donate the cost of a bag of frozen peas (or more) to cancer-fighting research at the Frozen Pea Fund. Then come brag about it!

Regular brags on any topic are still welcome!

You can leave a comment right now, or dm beckymccray on Twitter.

This week, I had continued my growth experience in social networking, what an amazing world, in two short months I have met over 100 new people. Really looking forward to 2008 and many more to come.

This community is absolutely amazing to me.

@conniereece totally rocks for putting this together with Cathleen Ritt. they both rock.

Bryce Moore (@abiteofsanity) kept my head together early this morning and deserves an award for helping me figure out a piece of code that I couldn’t wrap my head around.

Interesting, my kids just started eating frozen peas this week for the first time.

My brag: Just put an excerpt of “Effective Internet Presence, Now required for success in business and life” online: http://snipurl.com/1vo4y
    It’s due Jan 3rd and 100% free!

Happy Holidays Becky et. al. (I think that’s Latin — makes me feel smart :) )

As I mentioned in my blog, “Power of the PEAple” the diseased c-word is filthy but triumphed by the other c-word “community”. My brag is I am amongst good-hearted individuals.

    Aloha!
    NEENZ.

Paul, thank you for your return comment!
Folks, Paul is too modest to mention that his site My Part of Colorado was recently named “Blog of the Year.” I’m a happy reader of his insights since he was located in Kenya, writing My Part of Nairobi.
    Congrats, Paul!

    Hey,
This is David Neff over at the American Cancer Society. Thanks so much for posting about this. Susan is just one of the many women that face Breast Cancer every year. Thanks for helping us spread the word that this disease is treatable if caught.

P.S. If your coming to SXSW this year come hear us talk Frozen peas on our Interactive Panel.
