Tool: Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA)

Another tool to make your small business competitive from anywhere on earth. (Found long ago from Rex Hammock, via: Dave Winer, but you still probably haven’t heard of it.)

Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) is a new program that makes delivering your Pro Merchant Program and WebStore orders a snap. You send your new and used products to us, and we’ll store them. As orders are placed, we’ll pick, pack and ship them to your customers from our network of fulfillment centers.

So you can set up a store on Amazon, send them the merchandise, let them take and fill the orders for you. If you aren’t worrying about that part, you can focus on knowing what to sell, how best to promote it, how to find customers, etc. And you can do it from anywhere with internet access.
