This is not a brag but a comment. You all know about the hurricane that devastated the SE coast. We learned a lesson about being prepared for the unexpected. Our stores are in the Lake Oconee area. We did not suffer any damage from the hurricane but the evacuees came in huge numbers. All the motel rooms were occupied. The people had nothing but time. A lot of them did not have enough clothes for an extended stay. We sell ladies clothing. The Friday and Saturday during the evacuation were two of the biggest days that we have ever had. Fortunately we were ramping up our inventory for the holiday season. I talked to a lot of the people and gave them tips on things to do and places to eat. I thought that it would be good to have a regional info packet of what is available in the area, even during non emergency times.

James, I think that’s a good idea for any time. Thanks for the tip! Also, congratulations on being of such great service to people who were displaced and needed some support.
