The Brag Basket is open! This one is for November 20-22, 2015. Bring your good news, big or small, to share with everyone.

What can you do in the Brag Basket?

  • introduce yourself
  • share some great news from this week
  • congratulate a friend
  • applaud for each other
  • confess your undying love for rural places

How do you join in?

Below this post is the comment section. Add your good news there.

Reading this in your email? Hit reply.

Don’t like to brag? Just share some good news for yourself or a friend.

Just don’t make it an ad. I delete the ads that people stick in here. If you talk more about the people involved than the things, you’ll be fine.

It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

Congratulations, Cavalier!

Congratulations to Cavalier, North Dakota! (pop 1,302) They received a Stone Soup award in recognition of all the hard work Bryan McCoy and a team of community members put in on hosting the Community Connect Forum with the University of North Dakota earlier this year. Great people!

  1. We’re so excited that our farmers, chefs, local foodies, small businesses and County staff have collaborated so well, which has resulted in an award!

Norfolk County has won the Ontario Culinary Tourism Leadership Award for its work in promoting local food and farmers, encouraging local chefs to use Norfolk County ingredients, and luring tourists to visit and spend money on agritourism and culinary tourism in Norfolk County.

    1. Clark, congratulations! Norfolk County has a terrific record of making the most of the local foods you grow and produce. It takes a lot of hard work to bring it together!
