The Brag Basket is our tradition of sharing. The basket is always free and open all weekend, this one April 27-29, 2012. Have some good news this week? Put it in the Brag Basket.

Don’t hold back because of that word, “brag.” When you hold back, you hide your good news and accomplishments that might inspire others. Even though I call this the Brag Basket, it’s not really about bragging. It’s about sharing.
What can you do in the Brag Basket?
- introduce yourself
- share some great news from this week
- congratulate a friend
- laugh about something wonderful that you tried that failed
- applaud for each other
Speak up and add yourself or another deserving soul in the comments. It lets you meet each other a bit. Reading each others’ stories brings us a bit closer to being a community.
How does it work? You write a comment on this post. We all cheer, and everyone feels great.
This is not an ad. (I delete the ads.) It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

I love your Brag Basket Becky!
Begin bragging:
Back in the Fall of last year myself and my co-founders at Office Divvy started a new event with the help of some of our inner-circle friends that we named “Entrepreneur Night” taking root in our semi-rural, semi-suburban city Palm Coast, Florida.
The idea was to create a monthly “destination” at a different venue each time, for Entrepreneurs, Aspiring Entrepreneurs, Investors, and folks who support entrepreneurs to gather in a social setting, make new connections, and have meaningful conversations with peers, investors, and service providers.
Last Tuesday we had our 7th event, which brought nearly 140 people. Today it’s featured on the cover of the Business Section of Daytona Beach News Journal; and nearly a quarter-million people in Central and North Florida will read and learn about the Entrepreneur Night!
The events now draw people from as far as 50 mile radius of Flagler County, and over a 1,000 visitors monthly come to the website at http://EntrepreneurNight.com
I’m humbled and very happy that we started a new, successful, meaningful, non-obligation-based free event that differentiates itself from the typical top-down-approach events (i.e. Chamber event, civic group or membership events etc); and people totally dig it and benefit tremendously from it.
End of Brag. :)
