The Brag Basket is our tradition of sharing. The basket is always free and open all weekend, this one April 13-15, 2012. Have some good news this week? Put it in the Brag Basket.

Don’t hold back because of that word, “brag.” When you hold back, you hide your good news and accomplishments that might inspire others. Even though I call this the Brag Basket, it’s not really about bragging. It’s about sharing.
What can you do in the Brag Basket?
- introduce yourself
- share some great news from this week
- congratulate a friend
- laugh about something wonderful that you tried that failed
- applaud for each other
Speak up and add yourself or another deserving soul in the comments. It lets you meet each other a bit. Reading each others’ stories brings us a bit closer to being a community.
How does it work? You write a comment on this post. We all cheer, and everyone feels great.
This is not an ad. (I delete the ads.) It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

The last couple weeks have been filled with home stuff. A clogged drain in the front yard was causing standing water and some road damage. Finally got the clog cleared the day before yesterday after a couple weeks of off and on (and sometimes painful) digging. Also replaced a leaky toilet flapper valve, which actually had to be done twice because the fancy dual-flush unit I got didn’t work as advertised AND had a poorly designed seal that caused an internal leak. Lastly, I finally got a PO box, so my biz is one step closer to being a real, live thing. I should be ready to file LLC paperwork in the next couple of weeks.
Hi Everyone,
Long time lurker, first time poster because today I actually have something to brag about! We recently participated and won in a Startup Weekend ( Brag #1 ) but what’s best is that we decided to continue the project and since then we’ve got a lot of praise and people looking forward to use our service ( Brag #2 ). This is the first time for me and I feel so proud!
So what’s the project you say? I’ts called Dropdock and it’s s a cross platform application with the easiest file-sharing experience. Simply drag and drop the files on the avatar of the person you want to send them to. and voila, it’s sent.

Jeff, congrats on all the home stuff, and being one step closer to “in business”!
Copypastaa, congrats on the startup success!
Our team just brought a new manufacturing plant up on our systems.
Yay.
Todd, I always admire how you stick with your work, and how what you do supports manufacturing.
