Can we put books in the Brag Basket?

By Small Biz Survival

The Brag Basket is our tradition of sharing. The basket is always free and open all weekend, this one March 31-April 2, 2012. Have some good news this week? Put it in the Brag Basket.

Don’t hold back because of that word, “brag.” When you hold back, you hide your good news and accomplishments that might inspire others. Even though I call this the Brag Basket, it’s not really about bragging. It’s about sharing.

What can you do in the Brag Basket?

  • introduce yourself
  • share some great news from this week
  • congratulate a friend
  • laugh about something wonderful that you tried that failed
  • applaud for each other

Speak up and add yourself or another deserving soul in the comments. It lets you meet each other a bit. Reading each others’ stories brings us a bit closer to being a community.

How does it work? You write a comment on this post. We all cheer, and everyone feels great.

This is not an ad. (I delete the ads.) It’s a conversation with friends. So jump in. And remember to cheer for each other.

I would like to congratulate Becky on the publishing of the book she co-authored with Barry Molz: Small Town Rules. I think it is a BIG deal. BTW, it is a very good book containing lots of useful ideas and guidelines for thinking about business in a slightly different way to get a big dividend. http://bit.ly/GUhnoI [Sorry, Becky, if I stole your thunder.]

Thank you, Maesz. I’ve been busy working on launch prep, and I forgot to get in here and brag myself! Yes, I’m very, very proud of the accomplishment and at the time humbled by all the support. Thank you, everyone!

PS – Official launch coming next week. :)

Thank you, all! I’m thrilled to say you bought out Amazon completely in 24 hours! In fact, you ordered half again as many as they had on hand. I’m so honored by this support. Thank you.

Bought out! BEST argument in the world for the e-book version. I own a ∩ook, but I also have Kindle software on my HP mini-computer (the download for the software was free). Becky & Barry have a hit on their hands. Yippee!
