Brag Basket – It’s fun to brag!

By Small Biz Survival

brag basketThe life of an entrepreneur, especially in a rural area, can feel a bit solitary. But you still deserve to be cheered on. Once a week, you can come here and brag a bit on your business, your community, or your self. We’ll cheer you on.

What can you brag about? Last week, Owen bragged that Oprius was nominated for the ViaTec Emerging Company Of The Year, and Heidi bragged that a client complimented her professionalism.

It doesn’t have to be something HUGE. I bragged about getting mentioned in an Oklahoma newsletter, along with Jack. Phil bragged when he got his book cover redesigned.
Greg bragged when Mobivity got certified on T-Mobile. Drew bragged about his new e-book. Anything is fair game for bragging!

You can brag anytime during the weekend and throughout the week. Next Friday, I’ll post a new Brag Basket, fresh and clean for new brags.

If you feel a bit bananas when you get done, feel free to take a copy of the basket logo, made for us by our friend BJ, and link back to the brag basket from your own blog or site.

Now it’s your turn. Post a comment and brag!

Brags!

OK. I’m gonna brag again if no one else is.

We just launched a new service for real estate agents and home sellers called Cell a House. House hunters can send a text message to a code on a for sale sign and receive pictures and information about the house sent to their phone.

We launched at the National Association of Realtors show in D.C. last week. We’ve been getting a great response!

Check it out @ http://www.cellahouse.net. We are also looking for people to call on Real Estate brokers and agents for a nice recurring commission.

Enjoy the holiday everyone!

Hi, Greg! Glad to hear from you again.

Congratulations on an excellent new service! Sounds like it would work really well for buyers, cruising around looking at houses. That shows some innovative thinking!

I need to forward this to my sister-in-law, the real estate agent!

Congrats, Greg!

Greg, congrats on your launch! We are working hard towards our summer launch at Oprius.

Last brag we were nominated for the ViaTec Emerging Technology Company of the Year award. Well, yesterday we walked away with a new trophy to add to the growing award wall. We were also mentioned on the front page of the local paper, and will possibly get a full write up soon. Things are really starting to take off.

Woohoo! You won! Owen, congratulations! If I know you, you found a nifty way to share the award and the positive feelings with the entire team at Oprius. I’m glad to see your outstanding work recognized locally. I know that local press feels good, too! The article paints a fascinating picture of the high tech industry around you. Let us know if they do write another article on Oprius. I love getting to follow your story. Congratulations! Wow!
